The big sleigh bed
Donated by Sarah Richards of Weston Lullingfields..”We were searching for a special bed for our lovely home and had seen some spectacular beds at huge prices in some of the amazing shops in the City. After a rather short conversation we gave up! Coming back home we called in to an antique store in Oswestry and there in front of us stood the most wonderful looking bed, the design and style I loved and the price (hand made from recycled wood) was incredibly sensible (around a £1,000). So we had one made and couldn’t wait for delivery! However I really had not considered quite how big the bed would be in our bedroom and had to put the bed in the garage for storage.
We visited Reviive having heard about it through friends, everyone saying how well presented the furniture was. After quite sometime and seeing Reviive sell another sleigh bed but not quite so good, we donated the bed and are watching their auction on ebay with bated breath!!!!!! Thanks Reviive.”
