A grand, grand piano
We often collect things from our local household recycling centre. Imagine our surprise when we came across a Bechstien grand piano being off-loaded for its life’s end at the dump!!! Whilst it looked a bit tatty it played like a dream with new keys and roller casters!!! We quickly put it onto to our van and brought it back to Reviive’s warehouse where it was much admired and immediately attracted interest with an offer of £500! However our new ebay dept set it on ebay and the offers rose slowly from its small start and kept coming for 10 days eventually selling for £1030!
To complete the story you must come with us up to Colwyn Bay where we delivered it to its new and very proud owner! Getting the piano into his house was a huge challenge where we patiently waited for him to amass his many friends and carry the dismantled piano side ways on into his rather small living room, totally occupied by the Bechstein. Some days later we received a lovely and friendly email thanking us for our help.
